The last panel going into place! As this was being done, the radio was playing the Beach Boy's "Sloop John B" with the works "I want to go home..." Perfect sentiment for these guys who have been away from home during this entire install.

  1. Love the 4:20 on the centerpiece there! You people know your audience 🙂

  2. Dome!
    What Dome?

  3. Fantastic! I actually went to see a film 2 weeks back at the new dome and unfortunately was bummed out. We saw Animalopolis and it was some of the worst picture quality and sound I have seen there, not too mention a fairly poorly written film. Definitely not worth the $45 we paid to have myself, wife and daughter watch it.

I understand the film itself was probably most likely remnants of some IMAX footage off the cutting room floor thrown together. The editing was poor and soundtrack was definitely not worthy of playback on your newly installed system. I was tempted to ask for our money back but know that admission tix probably support such renovations and do indeed want to support this wonderful theater.

Regardless I will give it another shot once the new projection system is in. Thanks again for all your hard work and perhaps discount Animalopolis as I know others were disappointed as well.
